Our cacao comes from non-certified organic farms. We personally know each of the farmers and their farms and conduct several monitoring visits per year to ensure no synthetic or chemical inputs are used.

To’ak pays cacao growers the highest farmgate prices of any chocolate company in the continent: 3-9x more than the Fair Trade price. Read more in our Transparency Report.

Beautifully packaged. Arrived on time and in tact! These were a (costly) gift so, sadly, I didn't get to taste them. Maybe I'll gift myself a set soon! Disregard the taste evaluation, as there is no option for gifts/not tasted.

Many thanks for finding my location here in the Arizona highlands. Chocolate is no stranger to the Southwest, as ceremonial cups were found at Chaco Canyon, in New Mexico, dating at @900AD!

I am a Raving Fan of this company

I do tastings with friends regularly and gift them a 18 Mini Bar set after. It is such a wonderful evening to build different flavors around. Adding dessert wines, cheeses and spirits makes for a different tasting expereince. Also the environmental stewardship of the company also always intrigues people.

Regenerative Cacao that Supports Conservation

We’re using cacao trees to help restore forest on degraded agricultural land. It’s one element of a holistic regenerative agroforestry project that combines cacao trees with a diversity of tall native shade trees, fruit trees, and other food crops like bananas and plantains.

We’re doing this in partnership with TMA (Third Millennium Alliance), a nonprofit rainforest conservation organization that has been protecting and restoring forests in Ecuador since 2007.
