Fine Art Print - Rainforest Nuts

We believe that the most meaningful art connects us to something greater than ourselves. This is what we aim to express in our work as tree-to-bar chocolate makers. What we present to the world is ultimately a work of art, with dark chocolate as our medium.
To expand on this philosophy, we decided to launch a competition throughout Ecuador to find some of the country’s most promising up-and-coming artists. We chose eight artists and gave them the task to create a piece of art inspired by their favorite Alchemy chocolate. 

Their work would not only serve as the packaging for our Alchemy collection, but as stunning art pieces on their own.

We then produced a limited series of 175 fine art prints per edition (45 cm x 47.5 cm / 17.7“ x 18.7“). Each fine art print includes an official certificate of authenticity signed by the author. The work is printed on 100% high-quality cotton paper. Our supplier guarantees this paper will last at least 100 years if kept under ideal conditions, including avoiding direct sunlight and high levels of humidity. 

Each art print also includes an embossed To'ak seal.

As a company based in Ecuador, a major part of our mission involves supporting the local communities that we work alongside. For our Alchemy collection, we built a novel profit-sharing model that includes a 50-50 profit split with the artist for each fine art print sold. Through your purchase, you are directly supporting a group of young and talented artists in Ecuador.

Prints will take up to 10 business days to ship from Ecuador and will arrive separately from any other items.

Our cacao comes from non-certified organic farms. We personally know each of the farmers and their farms and conduct several monitoring visits per year to ensure no synthetic or chemical inputs are used.

To'ak has long gone well beyond Fair Trade, paying up to 700% above the local market price for wet cacao. While cacao prices are always fluctuating, To'ak continues to pay the true cost of cacao.

Your purchase supports our work in regenerative agriculture and heirloom cacao conservation. Cacao sourced from Piedra de Plata is certified Heirloom Cacao by Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund.

We aim to ship your chocolate with the utmost care, ensuring it arrives quickly and in perfect condition. Same-day shipping cut-off is 7am Mountain Time (Mon-Wed during warm weather and Mon-Fri during cooler weather)
