I'm used to the bitter cacao from the grocery store and I've never been a fan of dark chocolate because of that. Now I know that it's because dark chocolate is usually made with bitter cheap cacao. I mix To'ak cacao into something every day because of the health benefits. The taste of this cacao is so amazing that I eat it by the spoonful. As I chew it, it becomes creamy and it has a rich, full bodied flavor that isn't bitter at all. It's so hard to explain because it's unlike anything else. It has the creaminess of a chocolate bar. Amazing! I'm about to place my third order and will continue to purchase this for years to come.

Our cacao comes from non-certified organic farms. We personally know each of the farmers and their farms and conduct several monitoring visits per year to ensure no synthetic or chemical inputs are used.
To'ak has long gone well beyond Fair Trade, paying up to 700% above the local market price for wet cacao. While cacao prices are always fluctuating, To'ak continues to pay the true cost of cacao.
