Our cacao comes from non-certified organic farms. We personally know each of the farmers and their farms and conduct several monitoring visits per year to ensure no synthetic or chemical inputs are used.

Only tasted one or two so far, but the pure heirloom chocolate tastes are wonderful. Even higher cacao concentrations aren’t super bitter but have great flavor.

Unusual and rare.

A great learning experience. Different and a lot like wine tasting. I noticed that the flavors just keep coming and changing as the chocolate melts in my mouth.

I was extremely disappointed in all the mini bars

I've been eating dark chocolate every day for almost two decades now, and have tried numerous (and I mean numerous) brands from all over the world, and in many parts of the world, so I was taken by your hype about yours being made from the rarest cocoa beans in the world. I was disappointed. I spent almost $70 for that tiny box of mini bars, and they tasted no different from many other chocolates, some of which are on my desk right now!

All in all, definitely not worth the money, and not worth the experience, which was pretty non-spectacular.

To make sure it wasn't just me, I shared the bars with 4 other chocolate lovers, and have watched them with great anticipation as they bit into the bars, but then they all just shrugged their shoulders, and said "Meh. Not sure what the hype is about," so it wasn't just me.

Spend less money on the hype and put it into bigger bars that cost a LOT less.

Regenerative Cacao that Supports Conservation

We’re using cacao trees to help restore forest on degraded agricultural land. It’s one element of a holistic regenerative agroforestry project that combines cacao trees with a diversity of tall native shade trees, fruit trees, and other food crops like bananas and plantains.

We’re doing this in partnership with TMA (Third Millennium Alliance), a nonprofit rainforest conservation organization that has been protecting and restoring forests in Ecuador since 2007.
